Dust binding and suppression

• Eliminate static in electronic manufacturing, and
   man-made fibre processing
• Reduce dust and improve quality of paint spraying
   and finishing processes

When the mist from an Eco-Mist nozzle is introduced to the air, the level of any fine airborne dust will be reduced. These dust particles have a large surface area compared to their mass, and if the particle is hygroscopic in nature, its weight will increase dramatically, as it absorbs moisture, and it will tend to fall. There will also be a general agglomeration effect as the particles will tend to stick together, which again makes them fall to the floor. These effects can be enhanced by the downward convection currents that result where the air is cooled local to the nozzle. Static charges can also be eliminated where humidity levels are controlled and this can help to minimize dust attraction in certain industries, for example, paint spraying and preparation areas.
